The client needed to transfer a portfolio of 43 loans representing $3.1 billion in AUM, spanning office, multifamily and warehouse properties. The loans were serviced by five different outgoing servicers, each with its own data formats, handoff procedures and file types. The transfer also required strict adherence to EU data protection and privacy standards, including BaFin requirements. 

Mount Street implemented a transfer governance framework that defined clear roles, standardized data handoff procedures and used a phased transfer schedule to manage the complexity of multiple servicers. Since Mount Street US already operates under the same EU data protection and privacy requirements that govern its European parent, the team was able to complete the required data privacy review without issue.
