EL Mount Street is delighted to announce the hiring of Vasilis Theofanopoulos as Head of Credit in our expanding Athens office. Vasilis joins the highly regarded team headed by George Generalis. Mount Street continues to develop its business in Greece through a combination of NPL portfolio due diligence and underwriting assignments, NPL workout and asset management, real estate management and brokerage as well as debt advisory mandates. Mount Street Hellas recently received its credit servicing licence from the Bank of Greece and offers services across a broad range of asset types including CRE, SMEs/SBs, mortgages and shipping loans.

Vasilis brings a wealth of experience having most recently been a partner in KKR’s Pillarstone business and head of their Greek team for a number of years.
