OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF ROLE (WHAT IS REQUIRED OF THE JOBHOLDER TO ACCOMPLISH):
Manage multiple transactions to meet deadlines and deliver a consistent high level of service to clients whilst adhering to policies and procedures. Meeting commitments, working independently and as part of a team, taking accountability, staying focused under pressure as well as showing the ability to adjust plans to meet changing needs.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Working within one of Asset Surveillance teams on established mandates for several clients.
• Provide support for the Asset Managers across all client mandates.
• Supporting the asset surveillance on the Real Estate portfolio (with the view to take a small case loan in Q4 2026).
All the above on behalf of key client mandates, to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and timelines.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Gathering, interpreting, and analysing personal, property and financial/covenant data in respect of loan structure, property, and borrower related loan event requests in the context of the client’s lending criteria and risk appetite.
• Preparation of credit reporting for submission to the client for approval.
• On-going loan management from deal closure to maturity.
• Liaise and negotiate, as needed, with borrowers, guarantors, asset managers, property surveyors, property managers, project monitors, lawyers, agents and technical advisors.
• Prepare for and attend all Asset Review meetings with clients.
• Liaise between Lender’s in-house asset management and credit functions and external third-party professionals including legal, valuers and property management companies.
• Ensure all data is added to internal systems correctly to prevent any discrepancy in downstream reporting.
• Provide team cover support for team members when required to ensure a complete uninterrupted level of service is maintained.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Minimum of 2 year’s experience working in Real Estate and has a proven track record of working in a related credit environment.
• Previous experience reviewing LMA style Finance Documents preferred.
• Previous experience in writing clear and concise credit recommendations, identifying risks and analysing appropriate financial information preferred.
• Review borrower deliverables including rent rolls, tenancy schedules, operating statements, and business plans to evaluate asset-level performance.
• Ability to quickly prioritise and coordinate work and the ability to meet deadlines while achieving high levels of accuracy.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities in engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical skills to understand complex loan documents, borrower structures and compliance modelling.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently, if required.
• Must be able to adapt quickly and efficiently to client-specific requirements and objectives,
• Ability to form good working relationships with all levels across the business,
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word
• Previous experience in commercial loan servicing in the UK or elsewhere in Europe.
• Experience with either a third-party servicer or in house at a bank or other financial
institution.
