Mr. Solberg is a key leader in the MSUS joint venture with Mission Peak Capital.

Prior to founding Mission Peak Capital in 2008, Mr. Solberg ran the syndicate desk for commercial real estate debt products at Deutsche Bank in Asia. Based in Hong Kong, he structured and sold transactions throughout Asia including deals in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Indonesia, among others. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Solberg worked for Fitch Ratings, both in the New York Mortgage Securities group and, later, as the Agency’s Head of Asia Pacific Structured Debt. In that capacity, he evaluated and chaired a committee scoring all iterations of securitized credit products.

He has over 25 years of experience in all facets of investment real estate including debt and equity investments, joint ventures, property redevelopment, distressed debt, loan workouts, bond portfolio acquisitions and asset management. Mr. Solberg is a licensed Series 65 Investment Adviser Representative.

He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
