With over 25 years of broad real estate and capital markets experience, Greg Chastain heads operations for Mount Street in the United States and provides support and experience with special servicing and consulting engagements. Having worked through multiple cycles, Greg appreciates applying his knowledge for our client’s benefit, whether integrating for operational efficiencies or working to achieve higher recoveries.

Immediately prior to joining Mount Street, Greg was a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal for 14 years where he focused on real estate, working on multiple asset management and workout engagements. He was part of the on-the-ground team in the first week of the Lehman Bankruptcy and spent the next four years working out the real estate portfolio. Prior to A&M, Greg was a Senior Manager at Deloitte, performing loan re-underwriting, AUP’s and portfolio consulting on over $150 billion of CMBS loans.

Greg has a BA, with Honors, from Millsaps College and a JD from the University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
